Suriname - AIDS |
|
Suriname is a beautifull tropical country is South America. It has a half million inhabitants. The capital is Paramaribo. The number of aids or HIV infected people is approximately three thousand. The number of infected children is not known exactly but it will surely grow in the near future. The Government has a limited budget for the huge problem of aids and is spending the most at preventing it. This means already infected children depend on help from elsewhere. Because these infected children need special care a children’s home is important for them. |
